What’s your name and what do you do?
I am LR Wilson, the owner and founder of LR Wilson Consulting LLC where I am an Empowerment Lifestyle Coach and an International Transformational Speaker.
I work with mostly female identifying persons to create blueprints for their success in attaining goals. In addition, I am a Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions facilitator, certified Anger Management Specialist and so much more! In my free time, (joke) I also run a non-profit called the SHEE Foundation (Sisters Healing Evolving and Empowered) where I work with both justice and non-justice involved female identifying persons on life skills and navigating life to reach their full potential.
I also mentor Black and Brown girls through Project DIVA International where I am a Self Discovery Coach. I would be remiss not to mention that I am a PROUD member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and we were founded on amazing women making things happen!
How long have you been doing what you do?
I have been doing this work as an actual business for four years; however, I have more than 20 years of experience. One day I decided to get paid for what I love doing! It was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
What have been your challenges?
Some of my biggest challenges, like many small black and female-owned businesses, is funding sources. I pay for everything out of pocket and when I inquire about grant opportunities, like an actual grant writer to assist, there aren’t any that I have encountered that want to assist. I get that it’s a business; however, I also know that no one got there by themselves and I have always prided myself on helping the next person so we all win in the end.
I’ve never had a crab in the barrel mentality and wanted others to “do good” but “not better than me”. We can all learn from one another and rise together if everyone had that mentality. I love working with people and seeing them win. That motivates me to do more and to be better knowing that I played even an intricate part in that winning process.
What are your greatest accomplishments?
My greatest accomplishments definitely have to be pulling off everything that the naysayers fought against me succeeding in doing. I, along with my team, pulled off our third annual international conference this year and it was the best one thus far!

Shout Out to Lisa Nolan, Strategy Manager, of Healing She’s Got Faith who is always “Joan On The Spot” taking care of logistics and as an International Speaker on Grief. This last conference was held in Costa Rica and it was so very fitting for the theme of Authenticity and Alignment.
Women from all over the United States attend the conferences bringing a different perspective and flavor. We have women who have attended all three international conferences as well and they continue to promote and bring others
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans include expanding to the Nashville area! I’m elated to bring my spunk and pizazz to the women in need. I’m ready to light up stages of conferences all over and not just in Nashville, motivating women to get like Nike and JUST DO IT!! I am an International Transformational Speaker because I promote transformation AFTER you get motivated because that’s what lasts!

I would like to share that I truly believe in the power we have as women. We are unique in every aspect of the word, and MAGICAL is an understatement. I have a proven track record of motivating women to their goals and they have attained them! Moreover, I am ready to connect with other stakeholders to build together.
